29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    This violation was observed on or about June 17, 2014 when an employee was working on a 5 ft x 17 ft ledge approximately 43 feet above a lower level and was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.
