29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: a) Worksite, 22 Cape Rd, Amity Harbor NY - Employees were using a Bostitch Coil Framing Nailer to install support for a portico on a residential home. The employees were not trained in the hazards associated with the nail gun; on or about 6/18/14. Note: In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
