29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns.    On or about June 17, 2014, on the north side of the commercial building, employees engaged in framing activities were not wearing hardhats while working below other employees.  The employees were exposed to struck-by flying and falling objects.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.   On or about June 17, 2014, on the north side of the commercial building, employees engaged in framing activities used pneumatic nail guns and were not wearing eye and face protection exposing employees to struck-by hazards and eye injuries.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   On or about June 17, 2014, on the north side of the commercial building, employees engaged in framing activities without fall protection were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 9 feet to the lower level.
