29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system. At a jobsite in DeKalb, Illinois, an employee working and moving atop of a commercial truss system approximately 14 feet above grade was not using any method of fall protection. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
