(a) The Creek at Arthur Hills Subdivision, Lot #15, Acworth, GA; The employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards as they were not required to wear eye protection while using pneumatic nail guns to secure siding to a residential structure.

29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms were more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from other scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface was not used.  Scaffold supports and crossbracing were used as a means of access.  a) The Creek at Arthur Hills Subdivision, Lot #15, Acworth, GA; The employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 17 feet as a secure ladder was not used by employees to access the working level of the ladder jack scaffold.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level.   a) The Creek at Arthur Hills Subdivision, Lot #15, Acworth, GA; The employer exposed employees to fall hazards while working approximately 17 feet above the ground from a ladder jack scaffold which did not have a complete guardrail system, due to the mid-rails, top-rails, and end-rails not being installed.
