OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to which employees were exposed to being struck by an uncontrolled section of tree being removed using a crane. (a) Location - 75 Porter Road, Boxford, MA: On or about 6/20/2014, an arborist cutting in a tree did not assess rigging points for their structural integrity. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to comply with ANSI Z133, Section 8.4.2.

Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to comply with ANSI Z133, Section 8.4.1.
