29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2)(iv): Employee(s) were not standing firmly on the floor of the basket: (a) At the Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport, employees were required to step out of the work platform of a Genie articulating boom lift to work on aircraft's wing surfaces. The employees were instructed to connect their fall arrest equipment to the lift's built-in anchorage points while working outside the lift's work platform on aircraft's wing surfaces. The employees were exposed to fall and struck-by hazards.

29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: (a) At the Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the employer was using a 15-passenger van to transport employees on airport property. The passenger van had a damaged passenger bench seat that was missing some of the safety restraint system components. Employees using this seat were not provided with seat belts. The employees were exposed to an ejection hazard.
