OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards where: Location: Jobsite On or about 24 June 2014 two employees were exposed to fall hazards of up to 25 feet from the top rails of an UpRight model LX41 self-propelled scissors lift while climbing as well as standing on the guardrails and exiting the lift to access the upper level of the structure they were working on. .
