29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks.  On or about June 22, 2014 the employer did not provide machine guarding for conveyors including but not limited to the "FKI Logistex" conveyor (job 18417E  Q; W/O M082800; conveyor #3001) in the Hard Goods area where employees were exposed to hazards associated with the moving parts of the machine.  The conveyor was not guarded at the opening along the length of the belt where the belt rests on guide rollers.
