29 CFR 1910.138(a): The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasion: (a) On or about 7/1/14 - Facility, the employer did not provide and ensure the use of gloves during housekeeping activities where cleaning chemicals may be contacted. The disposable polyvinyl gloves provided to the housekeeping staff did not fit properly and did not provide appropriate protection during cleaning.
