29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt shall be worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. A) Building exterior in lift: Employees were working in a Genie aerial lift without a lanyard attached to the boom/basket, exposing employees to a fall hazard of approximately 30 feet, on or about June 4th, 2014. Plescia Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.453.(b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313608408, citation number 01, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/15/09, with respect to a workplace located at 144 Route 73 North Voorhees, NJ.
