29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): On, or at dates before, July 2, 2014, at the business located at 5905 Old Lohman Road, Jefferson City, Missouri, the employer did not accomplish a workplace hazard assessment to identify personal protective equipment needs for employees performing specific tasks. Specifically, employees performing tree services may be exposed to hazardous noise in that no hearing protection assessment has been done.
