On or about 07/01/14, at the mechanics' shop area, at Caribbean Battery, St. Thomas, VI. The employer did not develop a written hazard communication program to ensure safety data sheets availability for compressed gases such as oxygen, acetylene, argon/CO2; refrigerant 134-A and gasoline when used and/or handled by employees during car repair and maintenance operations. NOTE: Certification of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
