29 CFR 1910.1025(m)(1)(i): The employer did not comply with all the requirements of the Hazard Communication Standard for lead: a) Circuit board scrap recovered form consumer electronics is fed by hand into hydraulic baler machines for crushing & binding into consolidated bales. Employee(s) who load, unload and/or clean the balers of this scrap were not advised of presence of Lead (Pb) in the solder on the PC boards, and it's potential reproductive/developmental toxicity as well as effects on central nervous system, kidney and/or blood. Condition(s) were noted on or about 7/9/2014.
