29 CFR 1926.62(d)(1)(i): Each employer who had a workplace or operation covered by 29 CFR 1926.62 did not initially determine if any employee was exposed to lead at or above the action level of 30 micrograms per cubic meter of air (30 ug/m3) calculated as an 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA): Employees were engaged in demolition activities when knocking down buildings, sorting material, and torch cutting painted structures which contained leaded paint coverings and the employer had not performed personal monitoring to initially determine if any employee was exposed to lead at or above the action level.

29 CFR 1926.1126(d)(1): The employer with a workplace or work operation covered by this standard did not determine the 8-hour time-weighted average exposure for each employee exposed to chromium (VI). The employer is to make this determination in accordance with either paragraph (d)(2), the scheduled monitoring option, or paragraph (d)(3), the performance-oriented option: Employees were engaged in demolition activities when knocking down buildings, sorting material, and torch cutting structures which contained chromium (VI) and the employer had not conducted personal monitoring to initially determine if any employee was exposed to chromium (VI).
