29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure: a) 206 Gull Lane, Toms River NJ: An employee, not supplied with fall protection, was exposed to fall hazards in excess of 15 feet 7 inches to the ground surface below when performing framing, floor sheathing installation, and other related activities while working/walking from a residential structure's pitched roof. Condition observed on 07/10/14. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) 206 Gull Lane, Toms River NJ: Employees, not supplied with fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 15 feet 7 inches to the ground surface below when performing framing, floor sheathing installation, and other related activities. These employees had not received any fall protection training from the company. Noted on or about on 07/10/14. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
