29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms or service rooms were not kept clean and orderly or in a sanitary condition: a) Line Splitting Room, G&S Motor Equipment Company, Inc., 1800 Harrison Avenue, Kearny, NJ 07032. Accumulations of dust was present on the horizontal surfaces such as floors, electrical boxes and conduit. The dust was generated from splitting power lines for recycling and was found to be explosive. Condition noted on or about 7/11/2014.

29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: a) Employee Cafeteria Table, G&S Motor Equipment Company, Inc., 1800 Harrison Avenue, Kearny, NJ 07032. Lead contamination was found on an eating table in the cafeteria at 9.6 ug/100 cm2 (micrograms per 100 square centimeters. This converts to 89.0 micrograms per square foot (ug/ft2) of lead (the HUD Lead Hazard Screen criteria is 25 ug/ft2 of lead). Condition noted on or about 7/11/2014.
