29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems. On 14 July 2014, three workers were on a flat roof surface installing lumber along the edge of the roof for flashing without the use of fall protection, exposing all three workers to a fall hazard of approximately 15 to 16 feet to the concrete or asphalt below.
