Drury Contracting, Inc. was working in a trench where spoil piles had been placed near the edge of the trench, exposing himself to a potential struck by hazard from falling debris.

(a) At the intersection of Park Crest Drive and Sybil Court, St. Louis, MO, on or about 07/14/2014, an employee was exposed to a struck by hazard when he was working in an area of trench greater than five feet in depth that had spoil piles and shale positioned by the trench edge (less than 2 feet away from the edge of the trench.)
