29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes were not free and unobstructed: a) On or about July 11, 2014, at the above located workplace, employees were required to work at the north end of buildings 1 and 2. Exit routes form building 1 and building 2 which led to the exit door in the northeast corner of building 1 were blocked with pallets and material. Employees were exposed to the hazards associated with blocked exits during emergencies (fire, smoke inhalation).

On or about July, 11, 2014, at the above located workplace employees were required to work just north and east of dock door Number 22 near an unmarked confined space (pit). The employer did not inform the employees with a sign or other equally effective means, of the existence and location of and the danger posed by the permit space.
