29 CFR 1910.176(b): Storage of material created a hazard: (a) Northwest side of maintenance shop: On or about July 15, 2014, employees were exposed to struck by hazards when entering the maintenance shop from a portable fiberglass ladder being stored approximately 5 feet in height from ground level leaning upright unsecured against wall on the top shelf of a storage rack. (b) South side of maintenance shop: On or about July 15, 2014, employees were exposed to a struck by hazards when access batteries that were stacked 3 tiers high on a storage rack that was approximately 3 feet in height from ground level and batteries stacked 5 feet in height from ground level.
