29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: Mulberry Farms, Inc. - on or about July 16, 2014, where an employee was exposed to hazardous chemicals during sanitizing of equipment, including a sanitizer containing sodium hypochlorite, a chlorinated alkaline cleaner, and ammonium chloride compounds, the employer did not develop and implement a written Hazard Communication program. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

Mulberry Farms, Inc. - on or about July 16, 2014, the employer did not correctly enter the following work-related injury on the OSHA Form 300 or equivalent for the calendar year 2014: on or about April 22, 2014, an employee experienced lacerations and a fracture to the third digit of the right hand when operating a cuber machine. The employer did not record the injury on the OSHA 300 Log or equivalent form. Abatement Certification and Documentation is required
