The truck was not fitted with an overhead guard to provide protection to the operator from falling objects, exposing employees to a serious hazard, on or about 7-16-14.    Abatement certification required.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    a) Besser Vibrapac Machine: Employees were removing debris from under the machine while the machine was in operation, exposing the employees to a potential injury from the unguarded rotating parts, on or about 7/16/2014.
