29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) At the jobsite, on the 3rd floor, on or about 7/16/14: Employees were working at and near the edge of a section of incomplete deck, exposing those employees to a 9 foot fall to the lower level. Hathway Development was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314350349, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on 5/16/11, with respect to a workplace located at 6715 Buckley Road, North Syracuse, NY.
