29 CFR 1926.502(e)(8)(i): Unless the snaphook is a locking type and designed for the following connections, snaphooks shall not be engaged directly to webbing, rope or wire rope:  On or about 7/14/2014, at the above mentioned jobsite, employees were exposed to a fall hazard by wrapping the lanyard around a 2'x4' metal stud and attached the snaphook onto the lanyard as an anchoring point.
