On or about July 15, 2014 at worksite 1116 SW Drake Circle in Lees Summit, Missouri- Employee was using a pnematic nail gun to secure shingles to the roof without having any means of eye or face protective equipment. 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about July 15, 2014, at the jobsite located at 3317 E. Red Bridge Rd in Kansas City, MO- employees engaged in Re-Roofing work on a steep pitched roof were exposed to serious fall hazards, in that no Fall Protection Equipment or Fall Protection Systems were in use.Abatement certification for this violation is not required.
