OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that, employees were exposed to struck by hazards:  On or about 7/17/2014, 911 Call Center, Marconi Street, Bronx, NY  a) During coupling operations, an operator backed up a tractor to connect with the trailer, the trailer was pushed backward, pinning a second employee between the trailer and the wall.   Among other methods, feasible and acceptable methods of abatement include;  Follow Operators Manual for Great Dane Trailers, p.3., Coupling and Uncoupling:  Warning: incorrect coupling and uncoupling can result in serious injury and death  Coupling  Step 2: Inspect Area      Make sure area around vehicle is clear     Be sure trailer parking brakes are applied  Step 4: Back Slowly      Do not hit the trailer  Follow Company safety Procedures in section titled, "Don't get run over by jobsite activity".  Driver:      Before backing up, visually locate workers on foot to ensure they are clear of the vehicle's path      When backing up- immediately stop if visual contact is lost with workers on foot
