29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: (a) Laundry: Two Air Master Fans and a COOLIT portable air conditioner unit were used in the electrical room on a continuous basis while plugged in to extension cords as opposed to an electrical outlet as observed on July 17, 2014. (b) Building 304: A Skat Blast Abrasive Blaster unit was used in the Lift Bay and was powered on a continuous basis using an extension cord as opposed to an electrical outlet as observed on July 30, 2014.

29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: (a) Building 314 FMS Maintenance Shop: The tongue guard on the Tool Line Bench Grinder, serial number 4012807, was adjusted to three quarters of an inch from the abrasive wheel as observed on July 17, 2014. (b) Building 330 HVAC Shop: The tongue guard on the Wissota Ball Bearing Bench Grinder, Model E-6M serial number W2-79, was adjusted to three quarters of an inch from the abrasive wheel as observed on July 30, 2014.
