29 CFR 1926.502(e)(8)(i): Unless the snaphook is a locking type and designed for the following connections, snaphooks shall not be engaged directly to webbing, rope or wire rope: On or about 6/7/2014, at the above mentioned jobsite, employees were exposed to a fall hazard by wrapping the lanyard around a metal upright and attaching the snaphook onto the lanyard as an anchoring point.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: On or about 6/7/2014, at the above addressed jobsite, employees who did not receive fall prevention training were exposed to a fall hazard while disassembling a pallet shelving unit.
