29 CFR 1926.651(i)(1): Where the stability of adjoining buildings, walls, or other structures was endangered by excavation operations, support systems such as shoring, bracing or underpinning was not provided to ensure the stability of such structures for the protection of employees A.) On or about Friday, July 18th 2014, jobsite, 65-60 Booth Street, Rego Park, NY 11374 The adjacent structure (i.e. existing concrete retaining wall) along the perimeter of an excavation occupied by employees during the removal and replacement of a concrete cement wall was not adequately protected and/or supported to ensure the stability of the structure during construction activities exposing employees to cave-in hazards. WRITTEN ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION IS NOT REQUIRED
