29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toeboards: a) Employees performed lubrication and service of the automatic plating line equipment while standing on the rails and equipment above the tanks of the plating machines. Employees were exposed to falling between five to 15 feet without guarding or fall protection.
