OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:  (a) Sonoco Plastics Division of Sonoco Corporation on or about July 24, 2014 had a dust collection system including bag dust collectors located inside the building that were not protected by a deflagration suppression system and were not designed to direct explosive forces that might be created during a deflagration reaction to a safe location.  Sampling of the dust collected in the bag collectors determined that it was explosive.  the Kst was 0.47 bar*meters per second with a Pressure Ratio of 1.34.
