29 CFR 1910.27(d)(1)(iv): Ladder cages did not extend down to a point not less than 7 feet nor more than 8 feet above the base of the ladder, with bottom flared not less than 4 inches, or portion of cage opposite ladder shall be carried to the base: (a) Grain storage area, throughout the facility; cages on fixed ladders did not extend down to a point not less than 7 feet nor more than 8 feet above the base of the ladder including, but not limited to: (i) South leg; approximately 11 feet 6 inches from the cage to the ground level, (ii) Bin #5; approximately 11 feet 6 inches from the cage to the ground level, (iii) Bin #4; approximately 12 feet from the cage to the ground level, and (iv) Bin #3; approximately 13 feet 8 inches from the cage to the ground level.
