29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means: On July 27, 2014 an employee was exposed to electrocution hazards while performing work on a 277 volt lighting circuit and the employer did not ensure the employee was guarded against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or by effectively guarding the circuits. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
