29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) On or about 7/29/2014 - 2044 St. Joseph Drive NW, Cullman, AL, an employee walking and standing on an 8 by 8-inch wooden beam (top plate) installing 14 foot wooden trusses for the roof/canopy porch was not protected from falls of 11 feet to the concrete on the inside and 11 feet, 6 inches to the ground on the outside.
