29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a- 98 Route 70 East, Lakehurst NJ: Employees, not wearing full body harnesses nor supplied with alternative fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 15 feet 3 inches to the ground surface below when performing rafter installation, roof installation and other related activities less than six feet from the unprotected edges of a commercial building's a low sloped roof. Condition observed on or about 07/23/14. S & P Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 748881, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 06/12/13, with respect to a workplace located at 375 Route 46, South Hackensack NJ.
