29 CFR 1926.25(a): During the course of construction, alteration, or repairs, debris was not kept cleared from work areas, passageways, and stairs, in and around buildings or other structures: (a) Building 5316 - Workers were observed conducting framing work and their working areas and passageways were heavily cluttered with debris some which contained protruding nails, on or about July 31, 2014. (b) Building 5314 - Workers were observed conducting framing work and their working areas and passageways were heavily cluttered with debris some which contained protruding nails, on or about July 31, 2014. (c) Building 5312 - Workers were observed conducting framing work and their working areas and passageways were heavily cluttered with debris some which contained protruding nails, on or about July 31, 2014. (d) Building 5310 - Workers were observed conducting framing work and their working areas and passageways were heavily cluttered with debris some of which contained protruding nails and one portion had two protruding metal pipes sticking up creating an impalement hazard, on or about July 31, 2014. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
