29 CFR 1910.95(g)(5)(ii): Where mobile test vans were used to meet the audiometric testing obligation, the employer did not obtain a valid baseline audiogram within 1 year of an employee's first exposure at or above the action level: a) PET Sorting Line: On or about July 29, 2014, a sorter exposed to noise was not provided a baseline audiogram within one year of their hire date. Noise levels were measured during a 444 minute sampling period on October 23, 2014 when the sorter was exposed to continuous noise at 72.72% of the permissible exposure level of 90 dBA or an eight-hour time-weighted average of 87.6 dBA. No abatement certification or documentation required.

Noise levels were measured during a 447 minute sampling period on October 23, 2014 when the sorter was exposed to continuous noise at 83.63% of the permissible exposure level of 90 dBA or an eight-hour time-weighted average of 88.7 dBA. No abatement certification or documentation required.
