29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Roof - On or about July 30, 2014, employees were exposed to a 25 foot fall hazard while installing a metal roof on a new residential construction. The employees were wearing a harness but their harnesses were not connected to lanyards.
