29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:  a) 106 W. College Avenue, Pleasant Gap PA - Employees come in contact with and use hazardous chemicals including but not limited to, cleaning products such as Windex, Pine-Sol, Glide All-Purpose Cleaner, and Urnex Urn and Brewer Cleaner. A written hazard communication program was not developed to ensure the safe usage, transfer, and disposal of materials, thus exposing employees to chemical hazards and possible injuries, on or about August 1, 2014.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:  a) 106 West College Avenue, Pleasant Gap PA - Employees were not trained on the hazards of the chemicals they use including but not limited to, cleaning products such as Windex, Pine-Sol, Glide All-Purpose Cleaner, and Urnex Urn and Brewer Cleaner exposing them to chemical hazards and possible injuries, on or about August 1, 2014.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
