Violation observed on or about 07/30/2014

29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3): Scaffolds and scaffold components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity: a) 624 Avenue E, Bayonne, NJ north side of residential building Employer did not conduct a thorough inspection of a Werner ladder jack scaffold employees were assigned to use in order to perform work on a residential home. While working on the scaffold one of the supporting ladders crack causing one employee to sustain an 18ft fall to the ground surface below. Violation observed on or about 07/30/2014
