29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person.     At a jobsite in Dixon, Illinois, the company did not have a competent person at the jobsite where employees were exposed to fall hazards.    Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     At a jobsite in Dixon, Illinois, employees working on a residential roof ranging from 11 to 18 feet above grade were tearing off and replacing asphalt shingles without the use of fall protection.    Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
