29 CFR 1926.351(b)(2): Welding cable(s) in use were not free from improper repair or splices for a minimum distance of 10 feet from the cable end to which the electrode holder was connected: a) Central Heating Plant: On or about 8-6-2014, an employee was using an electrode welding cable that had a repair that was made with just a few wraps of standard electrical tape within 4 feet of the end of the electrode holder. Note: Abatement certification is required for this item.
