29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees did not use eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents. 43 Delphine Terrace, Staten Island, NY- Eye and face protection was not worn while using cordless nail gun(s) exposing employees to potential hazards from flying particles such as but not limited to, splintering wood and /or nails. An employee without wearing eye protection to prevent injury to his eyes was working using a Cordless Framing Nailer Model CF325Li, to fasten wood frame members to the frame of the residential structure. Violation observed on or about 8/07/2014.
