29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means: a) Subcontractor employees were not protected against accidental contact with energized overhead power lines during framing and carpentry work along west elevation of the new addition to the house. The overhead power lines consisted of secondary lines having a voltage rating of 120/240 volts. Airoom, LLC, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.416(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315098137, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 25, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 6645 N. St. Louis, Lincolnwood, Illinois 60712. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
