29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level was not protected from falling to that lower level. Paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (vii) of this section establish the types of fall protection to be provided to the employees on each type of scaffold:     At a new residential construction home, North side, on or about August 5, 2014, an employee working from a pump jack scaffold was exposed to a fall hazard greater than 10 feet, while installing fiber cement siding on the residential exterior wall.

29 CFR 1926.452(j)(2): Poles were not secured to the structure by rigid triangular bracing or equivalent at the bottom, top, and other points as necessary:     (a-f) At a new residential construction home, North side, on or about August 5, 2014, an employee working from a pump jack scaffold that was not properly braced at the top and bottom was exposed to a fall hazard, while installing fiber cement siding on the residential exterior wall.
