29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a) 720 Sansom Street, North Facing Side of Building. Employees engaged in the framing of the parapet of the building roof exterior were exposed to fall hazards of up to thirty (30) feet due to the absence of conventional fall protection. Observed on or about 07AUG2014.

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(ii): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stair rail system along each unprotected side or edge:  a) 720 Sansom Street, 1st floor stairwell - A stair rail system was not installed along the unprotected sides of stairs containing approximately eleven (11) risers, exposing employees to a fall hazard of approximately eleven (11) feet.  Observed on or about 07AUG2014.
