Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: On or about August 13, 2014, at the above addressed jobsite, employees engaged in residential gutter installation used an A Frame ladder to access the working level that did not extend at least three (3) feet above the upper landing surface, thereby exposing employees to the hazards associated with falls of nine (9) feet nine (9) inches. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
