At this construction project , employees were engaged in trench/excavation operations. Employees were exiting from the culverts, located inside the excavation, by balancing on a trench shield section to access the excavation edge. At the edge of the excavation employees maneuvered to walk across the two parallel culverts allowing access to he other side of the excavation.
