29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The temporary agency employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): a/ Van De Vries/E. Brunswick NJ Site. The temporary agency employer did not develop, document and certify a hazard assessment to identify potential hazards temporary employees would be exposed to. Temporary employees were hired to work at Van De Vries Spice Corporation where they were exposed to hazards associated with handling packages/boxes and combustible dust from the production of food ingredients. Observed on/or about 08/18/2014.
